HORIBA and LFIK: A Partnership Dedicated to Scientific Excellence

On June 22, LFIK was delighted to welcome teams from its new sponsor, HORIBA, for an exceptional morning of science and discovery. In the presence of Mr. Denis Cattelan (Executive Strategist), our students had the opportunity to explore the world of measurement technologies and the careers behind them.

As a company committed to innovation, HORIBA led three interactive workshops for our students. Through hands-on demonstrations, they discovered how measurement technologies play a vital role in everyday life, from environmental protection and food safety to healthcare and space exploration.

The event was further enhanced by the distinguished presence of Dr. Kentaro Nishikata, President of HORIBA Advanced Techno (HAT). During the visit, he officially presented the school with a donation of approximately ten high-precision pH meters. This state-of-the-art equipment will enable our middle and high school students to conduct laboratory experiments under conditions comparable to those found in professional research facilities.

By actively engaging with the school community, HORIBA is providing our students with valuable insight into the professional world while helping to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators.
