As part of the 2026 Language Month event, themed “Words in Network, Cultures in Echo,” students in the Japanese language classes at the Kyoto International French School created two wonderful podcast projects centered on Japanese language and culture.
With Ms. HAMAMOTO, the students explored the world of Japanese kaidan through a reading of “The Snow Woman,” a famous Japanese fantasy legend.
With Ms. DUBUIS, the fourth-grade students worked on the theme of March 11, 2011, in Japan, recording a podcast that blended reflection, remembrance, and an exploration of the song “Hana wa Saku.”
Congratulations to all the students and their teachers for their creativity and dedication!
