The goal of these tests: to determine the presence or absence of chemical elements in various solutions. A test is positive when there is an observable reaction between the target element and a reagent.

Color Change: A color shift indicates the presence of a specific ion.

Precipitate: The formation of a solid substance also reveals the presence of the element.
